We have a great career opportunity for a Finance and Accounting Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Finance Department operations and functions. The role reports to the Financial Controller and is located at our National Support Office situated in the Millennium Business Centre, Ellerslie.

Your duties will include:  

  • Management of senior finance staff and coordinating accounting duties through monthly and annual cycles
  • Advanced levels of reporting and presentations to senior management with analysis of variances against budget and prior year information on a monthly basis
  • Detailed budget preparation and monthly management reporting with particular focus on control of operating expenses
  • Ensure sound financial management and corporate governance by promoting J-Sox compliance including book closing, compliance with Company policies and other appropriate financial controls and procedures
  • Ensure regular and timely review of all balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure compliance with all tax legislation and reporting obligations


You will ideally have: 

  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience managing a finance team in a corporate environment
  • A New Zealand CA or international equivalent
  • Be able to prepare and present information in a professional manner
  • Advanced analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced understanding of spread sheet applications
  • Working experience in SAP or similar accounting packages and a good understanding of databases
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
