Bridgestone New Zealand Ltd is part of the global Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest tyre and rubber Company. The Company operates both Bridgestone and Firestone branded stores.


The role is for a product line account manager reporting to the Specialty Products Manager.

The position plays a pivotal role in both maintaining existing business relationships and driving new business opportunities throughout New Zealand.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for technical specifications together with a proven track record of achieving sales, managing key customer accounts, developing new business and market share.

A positive and enthusiastic approach, with relevant account management experience will be beneficial and tyre industry knowledge will be beneficial but not a pre-requisite. Good Microsoft Office skills will be required, primarily Word, Excel and Outlook.

You will be responsible for maintaining close relationships with existing and new product users, developing target accounts whilst having dealings with internal customers such as Regional Managers', Commercial Tyre Managers', Store Managers and our Independent Dealer Network.

This is an opportunity for someone who can take ownership of the product line and steer it in a new direction to suit the changing market. It is an autonomous role allowing you to engineer changes to support the processes that will enable you to grow revenue and volume.
