The Retail Manager (RM) is accountable for the effective management of all company owned retail stores in the region. The RM must ensure sales budgets and marketing and service objectives are achieved and expense budgets are not exceeded.

 The RM must also ensure profitability is achieved at all stores. The role will also have a high degree of contact with customers and potential customers to grow the business within the region.  The RM is expected to represent effectively or when required refer to National Support Office all Retail and Consumer business matters arising in that region.

 The primary goal is increasing Bridgestone and Firestone tyre sales and services, including automotive services where applicable, through all Company retail stores in the region. Targets are achieved by working with store managers, Commercial Tyre Managers and Representatives to co-ordinate and participate in the sales prospecting for all Bridgestone and Firestone products and services with potential customers in the region. Observance of Heath & Safety policy and safe working practises in Stores is also a prime accountability.

 The RM is accountable for preservation of the brand identity of outlets and the maintenance of existing business.

 The RM is to empower Retail Store Managers to be accountable for the operation of their store and to supervise their performance.
