This position is responsible for responding to incoming sales inquiries from customers and converting these into confirmed sales and bookings at the appropriate company owned store, and following up on sales leads by calling customers to convert quotes into sales.

 

What you would do

Call volume and quality
• Answering an equal share of calls entering the Bridgestone or Tony's Tyres  retail queue.
• Follows Company guidelines when answering calls / selling tyres and services to customers, but also uses initiative to adapt their style to suit customer.
• Adheres to the timetable regarding attendance and punctuality.
• Continually seeks to expand/improve on tyre product knowledge and services, in order to be able to sell these benefits to the customer to close sales.


Sale closures and conversions
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers to identify their needs, and interpret this information in order to close sales, resolve queries and/or provide relevant information.
• Making outbound sales calls to convert sales leads into confirmed bookings.
• Build customer's interest in the tyres and services offered bythe  business.
• Sound judgmental capabilities; ability to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer.
• Dependability; able to follow instructions as well as take responsibility for their actions and also keep commitments.
• Continually look forward, striving for new ways to increase opportunities to close sales leads.


Team interactions
• Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances, instil trust in others while upholding the values and culture of the business unit.
• Exhibit objectivity and be open-minded towards the ideas and views of others, give/receive constructive feedback, contribute to building team spirit, aid others to succeed.


EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS
One year plus in a retail environment
Documented sales success 
Ideally successfully passed National Certificates Contact Centre Operations (Level 3) if not then at least 1 year in a call centre environment 


Saturday work every fortnight essential
