This position is responsible for responding to incoming sales inquiries from customers and converting these into confirmed sales and bookings at the appropriate company owned store and following up on sales leads by calling customers to convert quotes into sales.

Call quantity and quality • Answering an equal share of calls entering the Tony's Tyres retail queue. • Follows company guidelines when answering calls / selling tyres and services to customers, but also uses initiative to adapt their style to suit customer. • Adheres to the timetable regarding attendance and punctuality. • Continually seeks to expand/improve on tyre product knowledge and services, in order to be able to sell these benefits to the customer to close sales.

Sale closures and conversions • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers to identify their needs, and interpret this information in order to close sales, resolve queries and/or provide relevant information. • Follow up on sales leads by outbound calls to customers to convert into confirmed bookings. • Build customer's interest in the tyres and services offered by Tony's Tyres business as applicable. • Sound judgmental capabilities; ability to manage difficult customer situations, to respond promptly to the needs of the customer. • Dependability; able to follow instructions as well as take responsibility for their actions and also keep commitments.
