An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Store Manager at our Mount Maunganui commercial store.

About the opportunity:

The Store Manager is responsible for overall store operations and staff management. Operating an efficient, productive and profitable business is a key focus for the position, including providing exceptional customer service and maintaining customer relationships. This is a very challenging hands-on role in a commercial store which requires a strong, experienced manager to lead staff, grow the business and maintain excellent relationships with our valued customers. A sound knowledge of NZ tyre industry would be preferred, but other relevant experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Profitable sales of Company and competitor products
• Management and achievement of budgeted targets
• Training and development and direction of staff
• Maintaining and directly contributing to technical and administrative store operations
• Development of business relationships with new and existing customers
• Strict control of stock and Company assets
• Strict Health and Safety procedures and compliance

To be successful you will possess:

• Knowledge of tyres
• Excellent people, communication and business management skills
• Proven skills and experience in retail sales
• Strong customer relationship skills
• An enthusiastic self-starter attitude
• A full clean driver's licence
