We have an exciting opportunity for two (2) new development based roles on the back of recent growth in the Auckland metropolitan market, ideal for high energy and enthusiastic self-starters who possess the key insights about successful retail operations and can influence capability at the frontline. As a green fields role you'll be identifying opportunities for high performance in sales and service and take responsibility for assisting regional managers to coach, develop and train team mates to fulfill their potential and exceed customer expectations to align with our new strategic direction. A bit about the role:

These roles will suit broad-based retail sales and service performance specialists, reporting through to the National Retail Manager and covering Auckland based consumer outlets. These positions will play a pivotal role in developing both capability and performance across our retail network.

This role takes responsibility for:

  • Talent identification & development working with store and regional managers to boost talent acquisition, succession planning and facilitate their career progression
  • Sales performance & capability enhancement conduct gap analysis on achievement against budget and key store indicators while developing and delivering customized sales training designed to improve individual and store performance
  • Customer advocacy analyse opportunities for growth with NPS performance and provide customer service training to support improvement in customer service, engagement and brand awareness
  • Product training ensure a consistent and in depth knowledge of key channels, products, their features and benefits

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in frontline consumer sales, retail management and training
  • A proven track record in coaching, mentoring, development and improving business results
  • An ability to engage, inspire and positively influence behaviours with a variety of stakeholders in the business
  • Tyre industry knowledge would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite
  • Good Microsoft Office skills primarily Word, Excel and Outlook
