Here's a great national sales opportunity for a global market leader

A vacancy has arisen within Bridgestone NZ Limited for the role of Industrial Products Manager within our Specialty Products division.

Whilst our company is most associated with transportation, Firestone is the world's leading supplier of air springs for vehicular and industrial applications. These sophisticated rubber and fabric products provide solutions for a broad range of industrial and non-vehicular applications, from Agriculture and packaging to construction and mining; our air springs help these industries, by increasing efficiency, reducing vibration and improving operations.

This national role is responsible for the marketing and sale of the Firestone industrial product range which consists of pneumatic air springs, actuators, isolators, and other selected products. Key to this role will be increasing sales for Firestone industrial products with potential and existing customers throughout New Zealand.

Reporting to the Specialty Products Manager, you will be driven towards the attainment of sales targets through proactive prospecting of potential customer and expanding existing customer sales across various industries throughout the country.

Aside from increasing market share in the industrial channel and the identification and acquisition of additional industrial associated products, you will also be responsible for the submission of budgets and forecasts while developing strategies and reporting on product performance, competitor activity and market conditions.

A structured consistent approach to account management will see you maintain regular efficient sales call cycles as well as the provision of technical support and advice to customers as required.

You will be able to demonstrate specialised product knowledge and sales experience as well as the ability to work autonomously and conscientiously across the business. Sound reporting and Microsoft application skills is required and a back ground in engineering is desirable but not critical.

Bridgestone is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment. You will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug screening test.
